All guests at Wood Farm Walks agree with the following terms and conditions.
Booking and Access: Visitors are required to enter and exit the facility within their booked time slot. You must allow sufficient time to get back to the car park and vacate before the next booking.
Parking
The car park is designed to accommodate up to 3/4 cars at any one time. Guests must ensure they travel together to adhere to this. All users of the car park do so at their own risk.
Cleanliness and Waste
Please help us keep Wood Farm Walks a beautiful place to visit. Please clean up after yourself and any dogs using the bins located at the end of the track.
Admittance and Cancellations
To enter Wood Farm Walks you need to book in advance online. Bookings can be made up to 1 hour ahead on the day.
We will only cancel a booking in exceptional circumstances but we do reserve the right to do so. In such cases, a full refund or an alternative slot will be offered.
Dogs
This facility is principally about providing a recreational space for humans but a limited number of dogs are welcome on leads. This is to ensure the wildlife is not disturbed so it can be enjoyed by the next guests. All dogs should be up-to-date with vaccinations and worm treatments and please do not bring any unwell dogs. Never leave your dogs unattended. XL Bully dogs and other control order breeds are not permitted under any circumstances.
Use
Guests must be on foot. Horses, bicycles, quad bikes, scooters or any other wheeled equipment is not permitted.
Children
Children are welcome but should be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times. Wood Farm Walks assumes no responsibility for children on the premises.
Equipment
Throughout the facility are a number of rustic benches for guests to use, at their own risk. Please report any safety concerns immediately.
Safety and Other Considerations
When entering and leaving the track please ensure you close and lock the gate carefully behind you. Please do not climb over the gate.
Do not share the gate code with anyone.
If you arrive early for your slot, please wait in your car until the previous guest has left. Please do not enter the facility if it’s in use. Please contact us if another guest exceeds their stay or enters early.
Smoking, vaping, open fires, and BBQs are prohibited onsite.
We recommend, if you have not already, you insure your dog for all circumstances, including third-party liability.
Wood Farm Walks assumes no responsibility for injury or damage to clients or their property while onsite. Wood Farm Walks assumes no responsibility for injuries to dogs or resulting vet bills.
Security and Hazards
CCTV is located at the car park and gate for security purposes.
Data Protection & Privacy Policy
Wood Farm Walks acts as a data controller when collecting and using personal data. We are committed to safeguarding your privacy and ensuring your information’s security. We do not share your information with third-party companies.
Privacy, Security and Exclusivity
Wood Farm Walks does not accept our facility is secure. The route is away from roads but we cannot accept any responsibility should your dog, or child, escape. Wood Farm Walks is located on private property and your booking should ensure you have exclusivity from other users. We cannot however accept responsibility for the actions of trespassers.Whilst we guarantee you privacy from other land within our control we do not have control of all of the adjoining fields. None of these have general public access but you may see agricultural vehicles working in the adjacent fields.
Hazards
Wood Farm Walks accepts no responsibility for any illness, damage, death or injury sustained to individuals, animals and/or property whilst using this facility. The track and margins contain areas of uneven ground and have the potential for rabbit and/or badger holes which could be concealed under long grass or other vegetation. Some areas may have overhanging brambles or branches and the grass could conceal fallen timber. The paths border deep ditches which may contain water. The open countryside has many potential hazards such as poisonous fungi, plants, flowers and nuts. Vegetation is a natural habitat to wildlife such as deer and pheasants which if disturbed may become frightened and startle guests. All of these, as well as other natural hazards, pose a potential danger to guests who must therefore remain vigilant and accept full personal responsibility for themselves, their children, and their dogs whilst at Wood Farm Walks.
Cancellations
We are a working farm. Where possible when we know we will be carrying out cultivations or harvesting in our adjacent fields, to reduce the risk of any possible conflict or accident and to maintain your privacy, we will close the calendar so certain slots may not be available to hire on some dates. However, there is always the possibility we will need to carry out operations at short notice and we therefore reserve the right to cancel your booking at any time. We will make every effort not to have to do this, but if we do a full refund will be offered.
Wood Farm Walks reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions without prior notice.
Use of the facility is entirely at the guest’s own risk. We accept no liability for the death of or injury to any person, dog or damage to any property.
We accept no liability for any losses, claims, actions, damages expenses or other liability incurred by the guest during their visit.
By making your payment you are accepting all of our terms and conditions.
